Yes played at the Celebrity Theatre last night.  we went to see them.  what a wonderful show.  hanging out with them afterwards was a real treat.

this has got to be one of the top 10 progressive rock albums of all time.  good stuff.

spock's beard

according to the spock's beard website, the physical cd scheduled for release this month has been delayed.  for us lucky ones who pre-ordered, they are offering a free download of the mp3's.  i'm listening to it now, and i have to say, it's wonderful.  it's one thing to have issues with a release, but it takes a class act to admit it, and make good on it.  highly recommended.

porcupine tree

lightbulb sun is one of my favorite porcupine tree cds. i've recently been listening to all of the porcupine tree catalog and i am duly impressed. steven wilson is a genius.

glass hammer

first purchase of 2013 is glass hammer's cor cordium. got it used from zia records and listened to it on the way home. good stuff, a mixture of yes and genesis. the lead singer is now also the lead singer of yes, jon davison.
